How does Heritage Federal Credit Union collect my personal information?

  • affiliates from using Your information to market to You
  • sharing for non-affiliates to market to You

Definitions
Affiliates Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
  • Heritage Federal Credit Union does not share with Our affiliates.
Non-Affiliated Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and non-financial companies.
  • Heritage Federal Credit Union does not share with non- affiliates so they may market to You.
Joint Marketing A formal agreement between non-affiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to You.
  • Our joint marketing partners include insurance companies.

SMS/MMS Mobile Messaging: No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Contacts Data: With permission, contacts data may be accessed to send money through peer-to-peer (P2P) payment platforms. If enabled on your device(s), we may access contact data to reduce the number of keystrokes made to send money through P2P payment services.

Device Images: With permission, device images may be accessed when taking pictures of checks for mobile deposit or sending money through peer-to-peer (P2P) payment platforms. If enabled on your device(s), we may access your camera to take and send pictures of the front and back of checks for mobile deposit or to reduce the number of keystrokes made to send money through P2P payment services.
